Donavan Ramon, IRT ’08
On February 11th, Dr. Ramon will be discussing a current book project on images of fight scenes in memoirs by Black men.

Fernando Tormos-Aponte, IRT 09
Congratulations to Dr. Tormos-Aponte who has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Women for a Healthy Environment. He is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Pittsburgh.

Jallicia Jolly, IRT ’13
Dr. Jolly will be writing for Forbes where her debut article is now posted on their website: “Beyond Glass Ceilings and Glass Cliffs, Black Women Professors in Higher Education Offer Leadership Lessons.” Jolly is an Assistant Professor of American and Black Studies at Amherst College. Congratulations on this exciting endeavor!


Michelle Lifson, IRT ’15, ’24
Congratulations to Michelle in being named Doctoral Rep for the Vanderbilt Association for Behavior Analysis. 

Servando Rojas, IRT ’25
Rojas received his bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Texas at El Paso during it’s fall commencement ceremonies. He was featured in the university’s commencement (beginning at 42:50) as the first student in the History Department’s Fast-Track Program. He is working with the IRT this cycle and waiting to hear news on his doctoral applications. Congratulations and best wishes!
