As a low-income, first-gen student of color, the IRT program has provided valuable knowledge to help me overcome the barrier of accessing funding for graduate school. I have learned how to advocate for myself, recognize my worth, and work through my imposter syndrome. I am proud to say that I have been offered full funding to my Master’s program. The IRT program has shown me what networking with care can accomplish, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be part of this community.
